My intention, through the teaching of postures, breath, and yoga philosophy, is to create spaciousness in the body, calmness of mind, and softness of heart that students can take with them off the mat and into their lives. My style is grounded, healing, and breath-centered.
What Brought Me to Yoga
I discovered yoga in 2003 with the intention of relieving chronic low back pain, and it worked! I have experienced the benefits of yoga at all stages of life: as a single woman, in marriage, during pregnancy, and now as a mother. I love yoga because it is a path of constant discovery and growth. As a teacher trainer for Cloud Nine Yoga and Ma Yoga, I am honored to guide budding teachers on a journey of changing lives one breath at a time.
