What Brought Me to Yoga
Many experiences throughout my youth gave me an awareness of yoga. What captured me and solidified my relationship with yoga was the notion that our bodies are mere reflections of our minds and emotions. I realized if I truly focused on the opening process through my breath, flexibility, and meditation, I could free myself from the structures of limiting beliefs and DNA that no longer served me, and I could be my authentic self. I find yoga to be a never-ending expansion of thought and love with myself and life.
I enjoy raising my daughter and introducing her to life, guiding her to be the best version of herself. I train and compete in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, a longtime passion. I find growth in studying ancient texts and exploring shamanic and holistic forms of healing. I love mantras, kirtan, community, friends, family, learning everything, cooking, and my relationship with Mother Nature.
